In The Broken Script, Random Events may occur to the player or the world around the player. These events have no discernible pattern to their appearance. Most of them are innocuous and some are even helpful, meanwhile others are openly malicious.
The player will make the advancement Go away with the description This place is not for you.

The player will make the advancement nullnullnull with the description nullnullnull.

The player will make the advancement Here I Am with the description Can you see me?

If the player is in a village, somewhere within its boundaries, Circuit will spawn disguised as a False Villager.
Lightning strikes at a position randomly offset by 1 to 10 blocks in the X and Z directions from the player's position.
A small black box will appear at the bottom of the screen that obscures most of the left and centre part of the hotbar.

Chromatic aberration filter will be applied to the player's screen for 1 minute.

An unused minecraft sound, player.breath, will play.
Distorted Windows 10/11 Blue Screen of Death overlays the player's screen for 9 seconds and bsod.ogg starts playing. With a 70% chance, the weather is set to rain.

The container the player currently has open suddenly closes.
The player takes 1 damage.
The player will either gain or lose between 1 and 10 experience points.
An explosion will occur in the player's base.
Multiple eye particles appear around the player.

The player's food level will be set to a random amount between 1 and 10.
The player's camera will be forced to point down, up, left, and forward relative to the world at intervals of 0.25 seconds. Each time the camera's direction changes, the player will take 1 damage.
Interestingly, due to the temporary invulnerability, the damage will only go through the first and third time, dealing a total of 2 damage.
OpenGL Error: 1282 (Invalid Operation)
will be sent to the chat 4 times, 1 second apart, before 5 seconds later
OpenGL Error: 0 (Here I am.)
will also be sent, accompanied by an eerie noise.

The player is flung in a left-up-forward direction.
doDaylightCycle gamerule, which is responsible for the passage of game time, is set to either true with a 70% chance or false with a 30% chance.
The player is set on fire for 3 seconds.
A random amount from 1 to 10000 ticks is added to the time of day.
The time of day is set to either midnight with a 70% chance or day with a 30% chance.
A 19x10x19 block area around the player, starting at their feet, is replaced by Shadow Bug - transparent, non-solid blocks that can cast shadows. (Might be a reference to Block 36 an old minecraft technical block, Block 36 is similar to shadow bug)
A random message is sent in the chat.

The VHS effect switches to the opposite of the current value.
"Why can't you just leave?" potion effect with black bubbles is given to the player for 50 seconds.

The player's screen will be covered by a black overlay for 0.5 seconds, they will be teleported 50 blocks up and will receive a Slow Falling II effect for 25 seconds.
moonglitch.ogg, titled thebrokenscript:integrity.curious in the subtitles, will play, and fog will condense around the player within a radius equal to a render distance of 2 chunks for a duration of 5 minutes.
Despite this event's name it seems to have no relation to the moon.
If the current lunar phase is 2 - Waning Gibbous, then the Moon moves to the next stage of Corruption.
The player is given a Written Book titled null, signed by null, and containing a single page with the following text:

The time of the day is set to midnight, glithcsound1.ogg plays, and a GUI window appears on the player's screen with the text "Good luck. =)".

An empty inventory container appears with the text "help" displayed.

Null will spawn in the player's base in his Invade Base behaviour.
The player will make the advancement nullnullnull with the description nullnullnull.

Null Particle will appear near the player for a brief moment.

Null in his Scare behaviour will spawn at a position randomly offset by -5 to 5 blocks in the X and Z directions and 0 to 5 blocks in the Y direction from the player's position.
A white text line will briefly appear in the center of the player's screen, saying

All wooden doors in a 6x6x6 area around the player will open on their own.
The player will be given Music Disc 11.
The time of the day is set to night. With a 50% chance eerie noise and heartbeat.ogg will play.
The player's camera will be forced in the opposite direction, textmadness1.ogg will play, and =) text will appear briefly above the player's hotbar.

4 sounds of walking on grass will be played at 1 second intervals.
Either an eerie noise, Disc 13, or Disc 11 will play, coming seemingly from nothing in particular. The pitch varies from 0 to 1.
randomsong.ogg will start playing, the time of the day will be set to midnight, and the player will be given Blindness II, Slowness II, and Slow Falling II for 16 seconds.
After 16 seconds, if the sky is visible above the player, there is a 50% chance that a lightning bolt will strike them.
The origin of the song is from EVE PARTY — GEMINI HOME ENTERTAINMENT
A chest with 10 diamonds inside will appear in the player's base.
If the Reputation with Null is Bad, a lavacast will appear at the player's base. When it spawns, it replaces the blocks around itself and thus is likely to cause serious damage to the base.

A sign with obfuscated text aBecauseofyou will appear in the player's base.


A 431434 block will appear in the player's base.
A lone block of bedrock will appear from 50 to 60 blocks up in the air.

A block of Cave Air will appear in the player's base.
A block named Empty will be placed in the player's base; the block explodes immediately upon placement.
A water source block will be placed in the player's base.
A Hello block will appear in the player's base.

If the Reputation with Null is Bad, a lava source block will be placed in the player's base.
A netherrack block will appear in the player's base.
An empty oak sign will appear in the player's base.
A single redstone torch will be placed in the player's base.
A water source block will appear from 50 to 60 blocks up in the air.
